Isuzu has launched the facelift version of the MU-X SUV in India at prices starting from INR 26.27 lakh ex-showroom. This SUV rivals the likes of Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, Honda CR-V and the likes. The 4×2 variant is priced at INR 26.27 lakh while the 4×4 variant will be yours for INR 28.22 lakh. Jonty Rhodes, the cricket legend unveiled the new MU-X.
On the outside, the 2018 MU-X comes with a new front fascia with eagle inspired design, new front grille, bi-LED auto-leveling projector headlamp, LED DRLs, new LED tail lamps, 2-tone rear spoiler, gunmetal finish for shark fin antenna and 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels. Inside, the MU-X gets quilted leather seats, soft-touch dashboard panels, 6-airbags for safety, chrome accents, etc.
Safety features on the MU-X include ESC, TCS, HDC, ABS, EBA, EBD, and more.
Powering the Isuzu MU-X is a 3.0L 4JJ1 diesel engine producing 177 PS of power and 390 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The 4×4 version gets shift-on-fly technology for off-road mode selection. The MU-X also sports higher ground clearance now rated at 230 mm with better approach and departure angles.
The Isuzu MU-X is a 3-row, 7-seater, full-size SUV. You now get a 5-year warrant and 5 year free periodic maintenance (or 1.5 lakh km) when you buy the MU-X.
