Isuzu has launched a new variant in the Indian market, the 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard. The brand launched the new Isuzu D-Max 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard at the price of INR 9.99 lakh ex-showroom. The D-Max 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard is targeted towards businesses that deal with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) which includes food and catering as well as perishable products. In addition to this, the 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard can also be used for last mile delivery. The 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard offers the option of constructing the load body, depending upon the requirement and usage.
Features
The Isuzu D-Max 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard comes with features such as a multi-infomation display and a gearshift indicator. The 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard also comes with height-adjustable seat belts. In addition to this, the pick-up truck also gets a collapsible steering column and underbody protection. This not only helps protect the driver in event of an accident but also protects the drivetrain from under the vehicle. Additionally, the power to the engine is also cut off in case of panic braking further improving safety of the vehicle.
Powertrain
Powering the Isuzu D-Max 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard is a 2.5-litre diesel engine that produces 78 Bhp of power and 176 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The commercial pick-up truck also gets a double wishbone with coil spring suspension on the from and semi-elliptic leaf spring suspension on the rear. The 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard comes with an overall vehicle length of 5375mm and wheelbase of 3095mm. The D-Max also come with a ground clearance of 160mm.
In its product portfolio, Isuzu has the S Cab Z, S Cab and the D-Max in its commercial vehicle line up. The brand also retails the Highlander, the V-Cross and the Mu-X SUVs in the popular lifestyle segment.
