Isuzu D-Max V-Cross gets a 1.9L diesel automatic for INR 19.99 lakh

Finally, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross now gets an automatic gearbox. A car unlike any other in the segment, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is gaining cult status for what it is. The Japanese brand has now introduced a new ‘Z-Prestige’ variant which runs with a 1.9L diesel engine coupled to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Isuzu offers the D-Max V-Cross to Indian customers as a lifestyle pick-up truck.

Powering the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross now is a 1.9L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine producing 150 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque matched to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross did not have an automatic gearbox till date. This very variant has been on sale in international markets, and has passed the test of time. The new engine might be smaller in capacity, but it is more efficient as well as powerful. This engine is BS4 compliant at the moment, and will be updated to BS6 before April 2020.

The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z-Prestige variant comes with a 2-tone brown+grey interior combination for the leather seats with soft touch materials on the dashboard and door trims. The pick-up also comes with surround speakers on the roof, for an immersive cabin experience. Other features for this new Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z-Prestige variant includes 6-airbags and BOS (Brake-Override System). The vehicle comes with features such as Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, 4WD with Shift-on-Fly, Start-Stop system, ABS and more…

Point to note, this Isuzu D-Max V-Cross 1.9L Z-Prestige variant is a limited edition model. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross was launched in 2016 at the Auto expo in India and still does not have any direct rival. The standard V-Cross is available in Standard Grade and High Grade Z variants along with this limited Z-Prestige variant.

The 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z-Prestige comes in blue, red, white and black paint options.
