Just like the Honda CBR250R, the Hyosung GT250R doesn’t seem to die. Motoroyale has reintroduced the 250cc class sportsbike in India at a price of INR 3.39 lakh ex-showroom. The GT250R from Hyosung is a rival to the likes of Yamaha YZF-R3, KTM RC390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the likes. However, the Hyosung GT250R is a old motorcycle now, but, the biggest in the looks department.

Powering this fully faired sportsbike from Hyosung is a 249cc, V-Twin, oil-cooled, 4-stroke motor producing 28 HP of power @ 10000 RPM and 22 Nm of torque @ 7000 RPM matched to a 5-speed gearbox. These specs are inferior as per todays segment standards, especially considering that the GT250R is not even the cheapest of the lot.

In terms of equipment, the Hyosung GT250R sports a 43mm USD front fork, rear monoshock with preload adjustment, single disc brake at the front and rear, dual-channel ABS as standard, alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, split seats, digital+analogue speedo console, tubeless tyres, etc. The bike now gets a new exhaust pipe.

The bike runs with a 17L fuel tank allowing for a good riding range.
