Electric motorcycle brand, Oben Electric has announced that the company is offering a discount of INR 25,000 on its all-electric Oben Rorr motorcycle in the Indian market. The discount has been offered to commemorate the 77th Independence Day and will be available till the 15th August 2024. Interested customers can avail the offer from all Oben Electric showrooms in the country.
Freedom Offer
Thanks to the “Freedom Offer”, the Oben Rorr now comes with a price tag of INR 1,24,999 ex-showroom. Earlier, the Oben Rorr came with an ex-showroom cost of INR 1,49,999, adding to the savings of the customer. The Oben Electric Rorr motorcycle is in-line with the country’s commitment for eco-friendly mobility. Also, the electric motorcycle offers “Freedom” from pollution, high fuel prices as well as costly maintenance reveals the brand.
Powertrain and Battery
The Oben Rorr is a Make-in-India product and is completely designed, developed and manufactured in our country. The brand further claims that the motorcycle is not only environmentally friendly but also engineered for performance. Powering the Oben Rorr is an 8kW electric motor which is capable of propelling the motorcycle to a top speed of 100 km and sprinting from 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds. The electric power unit is matched to a LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology which is the first in the market. The battery pack also claims to offer an IDC certified range of 187 km on a single charge.
Key Features
Oben also offers features such as a neo-classic and ergonomic design, connected features with ride vitals, remote diagnostic, and Find Your Rorr with GPS. The EV also comes with theft protection, driver alert system and claims to have the safest battery in its class. The bike also gets a high 200mm ground clearance, 230mm water wading capacity and IP67 rated water resistant battery. For customer peace of mind the electric motorcycle also comes with 3-year/50,000 km warranty on the battery, 3-year warranty on the motor and Oben Care Service.
