The bike is built around a trellis chassis, and the FTR 1200 S Race Replica gets this frame painted in red, while on the standard S model it is painted in black. The baseline FTR 1200 has not been announced yet for India.

Powering the bike is a 1203cc, V-Twin engine which produces 120 HP of power @ 8250 RPM and 115 Nm of torque @ 6000 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets slipper clutch, USD front forks, high mounted exhaust, ABS, IMU, 4.3″ touchscreen LCD speedo console with bluetooth, traction control, wheelie control and riding modes.

This bike is more of a street bike from the American bike manufacturer, while their primary range includes cruiser motorcycles. Bookings are open for INR 2 lakh, and deliveries will commence from April 2019.
