American motorcycle brand, Indian Motorcycles introduces the ultra-premium Indian Chieftain Elite limited-edition motorcycle with custom-inspired styling becoming the brand’s most exclusive motorcycle. The Indian will sell the Chieftain Elite in a limited production run of just 120 units available worldwide. The 2021 Chieftain Elite sets new benchmarks in the custom bagger segment and comes with premium two-tone Thunder Black Vivid Crystal over Carbon Crystal body paint along with a Slate Smoke finish Thunderstroke 116 engine and colour-matched badging.

The 2021 Elite model stands out from the crowd as the brand has given meticulous hand-painted treatment to the motorcycle that takes 24 hours to finish. The Chieftain Elite features a gunmetal flake layer within the paint and comes with an aerodynamic front fairing, hard saddlebags with sharp lines, a tear-drop shaped fuel tank, low slung exhaust pipes with a matte black finish, an open front fender, lowered suspension, 19-inch machined front wheel, a sleek profile Rogue seat for two and a commanding riding position.

The 2021 Indian Chieftain Elite features a push-button powered tinted windshield, all LED lighting, aluminium floorboards, an integrated 400-watt PowerBand audio system keyless ignition,weatherproof and remote-locking saddlebags that offer more than 18 gallons of storage, a tyre pressure monitoring system, seven-inch Ride Command infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, etc.
Powertrain
Powering the 2021 Indian Chieftain Elite is a Thunderstroke 116 air-cooled V-Twin engine that delivers 171 Nm of torque and comes with features such as rear cylinder deactivation that improves the thermodynamics of the engine at idle and also improves rider comfort while traversing through traffic. The motorcycle also features three riding modes – Tour, Standard and Sport that allows the rider to select the throttle response of the motorcycle.
