IBW: 500 bikers at chai pakoda ride in Mumbai

Promotional activities have already begun for the India Bike Week to be held in Goa, at Vagator beach on 20th and 21st February, 2015.

The chai and pakoda ride is a leisure riding activity held across major cities around the country to give riders across the country about what to expect at the India Bike Week, but on a much larger scale. Held primarily on Sundays, these chai and pakoda rides will be organised in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Goa, Chennai, Chandigarh and Cochin.

The Mumbai chai and pakoda ride was held on the previous Sunday and above 500 bikes and pillion riders were present at the event at 7 am. The ride started from a suburban location in Mumbai to Parsi Da Dhaba on NH-8, a riding distance of about 150 km. The event saw bikes from Bajaj Pulsars, KTMs, Triumphs, Harley-Davidsons etc. There was a huge turnout from local riding groups such as Surat Superbikers Club with 65 entries and Bikers Brotherhood Club with 47 entries.

Tickets for the IBW will be available for sale from 7th of October and an early bird offer of buy 1 and get 50% off on the 2nd ticket will be available.
