Hyundai Venue compact-SUV bags 50,000 bookings in 60 days

In the recent past, Hyundai has proved that almost all their products get a good acceptance from the Indian car market. The latest product, the Hyundai Venue Compact-SUV, or Connected SUV as the brand likes to call it, has received more than 50,000 bookings. Hyundai claims that this is the fastest ever 50,000 bookings and has achieved this in just 60 days since launch.

The Hyundai Venue might very well be the last entrant in the compact-SUV space, but it is loaded to the gills with all the features one needs, and comes out as a well rounded product. The Hyundai Venue gets connected technology with Blue Link which allows the car with its embedded sim card to have direct access to the Hyundai network (servers) and can be tracked or given assistance from anywhere, anytime.

The Hyundai Venue in India rivals the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Mahindra TUV300, Tata Nexon and the likes… The Venue is being targeted towards the millennial crowd with all the features which it has to offer.

Hyundai has revealed that more than 55% of the bookings so far have opted for variants equipped with Blue Link connected technology. 35% of the bookings have considered to bring home the best-in-segment and first for Hyundai DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine.

Hyundai revealed that in India, they have a combined market share in the SUV space of 21% with the Venue, Creta and Tucson.

The Hyundai Venue comes powered by an all-new 1.0L, Kappa, T-GDI, Turbocharged petrol engine producing 120 PS of power and 171.6 Nm of torque matched to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic or a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is also a 1.2L petrol motor which we are familiar with which produces 83 PS of power and 114.7 Nm of torque and the tried and tested 1.4L diesel engine producing 90 PS of power and 219.6 Nm of torque.
