Hyundai Venue – Updated And Refreshed
The newly updated Hyundai Venue is creating much buzz in the market. The SUV has been updated with some subtle yet significant changes both to the exteriors as well as the interiors. The most notable one is the big fat chrome grille up front. With this, Venue’s outlook is now much more inclined to that of Hyundai’s recent design language. At the rear, Hyundai seems to experiment with the connected taillamps, and we must confess it does look pretty neat.
Inside the Venue, there are a lot of new additions, which also include a host of segment-first features. The list includes Power Driver Seat, Three driving modes, a 2-step reclining rear seat with 60:40 split-folding functionality and an updated Blue Link system.
Mechanically the SUV remains the same. Thus, customers get three engine and four transmission options. For the petrol heads, Hyundai continues with the Kappa 1.2-litre MPi engine and the 1.0-litre T-GDI. Meanwhile, for the diesel lover, we have the U2 1.5-litre CRDi. Priced at INR 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom) for the E 1.2 MT variant, the Venue continues its value-for-money proposition. There are also plans to launch a sporty version of the SUV under the N-Line brand.
