Hyundai Rolls-Out Fastest ‘10 Millionth’ Car in India

Hyundai has announced that the brand has rolled out its 10 Millionth car in the Indian market. The celebratory vehicle rolled out of Hyundai’s state-of-art manufacturing facility in India near Chennai, Tamil Nadu. With the ten-millionth rollout, the brand delivers its commitment to the government’s Make-in-India policy reaffirming the policy of making India self-reliant.

The achievement also comes through amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The brand also revealed that the ten millionth car to roll out of HMIL’s plant in Sriperumbudur is the Hyundai Alcazar. Thiru. M.K.Stalin, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, signed the bonnet of the celebratory Alcazar to mark the occasion. 

Progress For Humanity

Hyundai has also announced the community-centric social value initiative for the state of Tamil Nadu. This initiative is in line with the brand’s global vision of ‘Progress For Humanity’. The initiative includes the Inauguration of Dream Village Project 2.0. Under the Dream Village Project 2.0, Hyundai will construct a Child Care Centre which will benefit 500 people in a year. The brand also plans to build a Community Hall that will accommodate 1500 people at Katrambakkam village in Sriperumbudur.

The brand also plans to launch an Income-Generation Program for Rural Women in the Dairy Farming sector. The new plan will directly benefit 200 families in the Kancheepuram district. The brand will also donate five life-saving ventilators to Government Hospitals at Kancheepuram. Hyundai also plans to support a Self-Help Group setting up a mobile catering service at Vallakottai Village near Sriperumbudur. 

Hyundai Alcazar 

On 18th June 2021, Hyundai launched an all-new three-row SUV called the Hyundai Alcazar in the Indian market. The Hyundai Alcazar comes with a starting price tag of INR 16.30 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to INR 20.00 lakh ex-showroom, India. The Alcazar comes with both petrol and diesel engine options along with manual and automatic gearboxes. Bookings for the Alcazar are now open, and the prices are currently introductory.
