Hyundai reveals All-New Santa Fe, proper boxy SUV

Hyundai has revealed the fifth-generation Santa Fe SUV. The current Santa Fe was introduced back in 2018. According to Hyundai, this all-new Santa Fe has been made for outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts.

2023 Hyundai Santa Fe : Exterior Details

Hyundai has completely revamped the Santa Fe. This SUV gets an all-new design which is a sharp departure for the current Santa Fe. The car is boxy in shape and gets a longer wheelbase. There are multiple H-shaped elements including the front DRLs. These are similar to the ones on the Exter. It looks like Hyundai’s new design language. There are H-shaped lights at the back as well.

We can also notice that the car now has more clean lines and no longer gets the curvy exteriors from before. Overall, the car is much more macho in its looks.

2023 Hyundai Santa Fe : Interior Details

On the inside, the car continues to have a clean design theme like the outside. There are light interiors which look more roomier. Hyundai has made use of soft-touch materials as well and added more tech in the cabin. The highlight of the cabin is the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment screen.
Seating options include 3 row options with 6 or 7 seat configurations. In comparison the current Santa Fe was offered with only two rows of seats.

Powertrain of the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe

While detailed information is not yet available, the car sports a 2.5T badge. This could mean Hyundai is offering the 2.5-litre turbo petrol motor with the Santa Fe. There could also be a plug in hybrid model for select markets.

Hyundai will reveal the car online in August 2023. That said, it is not yet clear if the car will make its way to the Indian shores. However, given the popularity of SUVs in India, the Korean carmaker would do good by launching the car here.
