Hyundai Mobis introduces ‘Kavach’ personal & car safety accessories amidst COVID-19

Mobis India LTD, an automotive parts and accessories arm of Hyundai Motors in India has unveiled its range of care, health and safety products in view of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak dubbed ‘Kavach’. The new Kavach products include accessories for vehicles as well as personal protection equipment that help customers keep the car hygienic and protect themselves from the notoriously infectious novel Corona Virus.

COVID-19 has affected the lives of 10 lakh people in India with 358,692 active cases, more than 6.5 lakh cured/discharged along with the death toll of 26,273. As no vaccine has been developed, until now, the best way to prevent being infected is by minimising exposure via social distancing and maintaining good hygiene standards. 

As the world slowly returns to the new normal the Kavach range of products offer personal protection equipment such as KN95 face mask, a 4 layered high-quality fabric mask that claims to have a 95% filter efficiency. Face Shield, a protective visor that comes in two variants – Standard & Premium and features an adjustable headband for protection with comfort. 

Furthermore, the Mobis Kavach range also includes car accessories such as a Humidifier that maintains optimum air moisture in the car and prevents allergies and dry skin. An antibacterial spray, an aromatic alcohol-based neutraliser that can be used to disinfect frequently touched points such as the door handles, steering wheel, handbrake, gear knob, power window buttons, control stalks, seatbelts etc. 

The Kavach range also brings to you a compact Vacuum cleaner with a heavy-duty motor to clean the insides of the car, Full-floor mat made from PVC that laminated the flooring available for Grand i10 NIOS, Aura, Venue, Verna and Creta. A pouch of Activated Carbon, made from 100% organic Bamboo Charcoal that helps absorb bad odour and an Infrared contactless Temperature Checking Gun.
