The Hyundai Creta is India’s most loved SUV and the brand has now launched a Sport Edition of this SUV. The Hyundai Creta Sports edition is available in both petrol and diesel engine options with a manual gearbox only. This is a limited edition of the Creta SUV, and is based on the top SX trim. The petrol powered Hyundai Creta Sports Edition has been priced at INR 12.78 lakh while the diesel engine option asks for INR 14.13 lakh ex-showroom. Both engines are 1.6L MT combinations.
The Hyundai Creta Sports Edition has been made available in dual-tone paint options and at an additional cost of INR 11,000. This limited edition trim is available in Phantom Black and Polar White with Black Roof paint options only.
On the exterior, the Sports Edition of the Creta gets smoked headlamps with projectors, dark chrome finish for the front grille, roof rails in silver, silver skid plate effect, dual faux exhaust tip in silver chrome, black ORVMs and a rear spoiler. Inside the Creta Sports Edition, you get black fabric seats with ‘Creta’ branding and contrast stitching, leather wrapped steering wheel, leather wrapped gear lever, electric sunroof and silver accents around the AC vents.
The Hyundai Creta Sports Edition ask for an additional amount of roughly INR 60,000 over the SX trim.
The Hyundai Creta rivals the likes of Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks and MG Hector.
Powering the Hyundai Creta petrol is a 1,591cc, 4-cylinder, 16 valve, dual VTVT engine producing 123 PS of peak power and the diesel engine gets a 1,582cc, 4-cylinder, 16-valve, CRDi with VGT motor producing 128 PS of peak power. Both the petrol and diesel engines get a 6-speed manual gearbox.
