Hyundai has launched the Aura compact-sedan in India at prices starting from INR 5,79,900 ex-showroom. These are introductory prices and will remain the same across the country. There are a total of 3 engine options on offer, and the Aura will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor & Volkswagen Ameo. The sub-4 metre Hyundai Aura is a sedan version of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios which was launched in 2019.

The Hyundai Aura will be available in 6 body colour options, and the Turbo-Petrol variants will get contrast accents inside and outside to help distinguish the sporty version. The Hyundai Aura is also the first compact-sedan to come with 3 different BS6 engine options along with automatic variants on both petrol and diesel. The Hyundai Aura measures 3995mm in length, 1680mm in width, 1520mm in height and 2450mm in wheelbase.
The 1.2L BS6 petrol motor is a 4-cylinder engine producing 83 PS of power and 11.6 kgm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox delivering 20.50 kmpl or 20.10 kmpl mileage respectively. The 1.2L Ecotorq BS6 diesel engine produces 75 PS of power and 19.2 kgm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox delivering 25.35 kmpl or 25.40 kmpl mileage respectively. The 1.0L turbo-petrol motor produces 100 PS of power and 17.5 kgm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual delivering 20.50 kmpl mileage.

Hyundai will be offering variable warranty on the Aura sedan which includes 3 years / 100,000 kms, 4 years / 50,000 kms or 5 years / 40,000 kms with roadside assistance.
