Are you looking to buy the upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 5? This piece of news is for you. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that they will open customer bookings for Hyundai IONIQ 5 from December 20, 2022. IONIQ is a brand that Hyundai has explicitly developed for dedicated BEV Models. IONIQ 5 has been developed on the dedicated E-GMP platform of Hyundai. The EV perfectly reflects the brand’s Global Vision of ‘Progress for Humanity. This further epitomizes Hyundai’s pursuit of quality time, as they aspire to make every moment of the customers rewarding and worthwhile.

Hyundai’s New Identity With The Ioniq Brand

This new BEV SUV mixes elements of nature and Hyundai’s ingenuity to harness the true potential of humanity. Hyundai claims Ioniq 5 will offer a product that will revolutionize the future course of sustainable smart mobility. With this EV, Hyundai aims to take customer experiences beyond simple transportation. Thus making the customers experience a new realm of mobility that seamlessly intertwines with their lifestyle, making every moment an occasion to cherish.

Sustainability At Its Core

Empowered by a vision to transform mobility, Hyundai has been leading in the EV race with innovative solutions. Hyundai IONIQ 5 draws a strong sense of inspiration from the world around it, thus making a difference today by incorporating natural and recycled elements. In fact, Hyundai is using Bio Paint for the IONIQ 5’s surfaces, such as the crash pad, switches, steering wheel, and door panels. This includes oil extractions from plants such as rape flowers.

Moreover, the Eco-processed Leather used in Hyundai IONIQ 5’s interior is dyed using flaxseed oil. The headlining and carpet fabric, too, includes bio components extracted from sugarcane and corn. The eco-friendly fabric is created from 32 plastic bottles that are shredded into plastic chips. These chips are then melted and spun into threads, making for an inviting fabric. This then makes its way into the seatback and door armrest of the Hyundai IONIQ 5.
