Hyundai India has launched the Grand i10 NIOS Corporate Edition in the Indian market priced starting INR 6.11 lakh ex-showroom. The Grand i10 NIOS Corporate Edition is based on the Magna trim but comes with add-on features. In terms of the overall design and the mechanicals, the Grand i10 NIOS Corporate Edition remains unchanged except for a few distinguishing features.
On the outside, the Corporate Edition comes with a “Corporate” trim emblem and 15-inch alloy wheels in Gun Metal finish and power-folding LED turn indicator mounted ORVMs. On the inside, the Corporate Edition features 17.4-cm Touchscreen infotainment display with smartphone connectivity and navigation, a plug-in air purifier with HEPA Filter and gesture control along with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal seats.
In terms of the exterior design and styling, the Grand i10 NIOS Corporate Edition features the same boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights into integrated into the radiator grille, upswept headlamps, L-shaped bumper lines around the foglight housing, V-shaped bonnet lines, wraparound combination tail lamps etc.
In the engine department, the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Corporate Edition is powered by a BS6 emission-compliant naturally-aspirated 1.2-litre four-cylinder, Kappa series engine with a maximum displacement of 1197cc that produces 83 ps of power and 114 Nm of torque married to a 5-speed manual or an optional AMT automatic transmission. The Corporate Edition is also available in the diesel avatar powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine that makes 75 PS of power and 190 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Corporate Edition in the Petrol Manual avatar is priced at INR 6.11 lakh ex-showroom whereas the Petrol AMT is priced at INR 6.64 lakh ex-showroom while the Diesel Manual is priced at INR 7.19 lakh ex-showroom.
In the recent past, Hyundai also launched the Grand i10 NIOS CNG at the starting price of INR 6.62 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS CNG is available in the Magna and Sportz trim options with the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and only has the manual transmission option.
