Hyundai Creta March 2025 sales – What makes it so popular?
Continuing the legacy of its name, the Creta has yet again become the best-selling SUV in India for the month of March 2025. The compact SUV managed to sell more than eighteen thousand units standalone in the last month of the previous fiscal year.
However, the sales figure for March 2025 still could not surpass the sales figure for January 2025, when the Creta sold 18,522 units. But the latest figures are positive for the Korean brand as the sales dipped in the month of February 2025, with Creta selling a modest 16,317 units.
As per the data released by the company, 69 per cent of the total sales of Creta belongs to the sunroof equipped variants. Meanwhile, the top-spec trims with the connected tech contribute to 38 per cent of the overall sales.
However, the top variant buyers contribute to 24 per cent of the Creta ICE model sales. Meanwhile, 71 per cent of the Creta Electric models sold are the top-spec fully-loaded variants.
The primary reason behind the popularity of the Creta brand is its spacious cabin, variety of powertrain options, including the fully electric version, and the long list of the latest connected technology and equipment.
The primary rivals of Creta include the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and Kia Seltos.
