Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced an increase in prices across its model range. This price hike is due to the rising input costs. Hyundai mentioned that the company has continued to absorb the rising costs. But now it is passing on a part of the input cost increase through a revision in prices across its model range. We are yet to see this interior setup on any Hyundai model in India before. But the South Korean carmaker already offers a similar setup on the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 EVs that are on sale globally. Even the slim band of AC vents below the infotainment screen is very much similar to the Ioniq models. Like the Ioniq models then, the system will come with an array of connectivity features. Although not visible in the spy pictures, Hyundai is also likely to retain physical buttons and knobs for the HVAC control. Again very much similar to the Ioniq models. As reported before, the next-gen Verna will also come with an array of ADAS features. This includes lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and forward collision mitigation.
