Hyundai Alcazar wireless adapter details
The Alcazar is a premium crossover of an MPV and an SUV, which is based on the popular Creta. Hyundai launched the latest version of the Alcazar in India not long ago.
However, with all the latest tech and features, the new model missed out on the wireless smartphone connectivity feature. Now, the company has updated the car with a wireless phone connectivity adapter.
This little connector is a simple plug-and-play device that needs to be slotted into the USB port. Once done, users can connect their smartphones to the infotainment system without using a wire.
With this new device, Alcazar users will now be able to enjoy the wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay features. Additionally, users can access other smart features like music, phonebook, voice controls, and more, all without using a wire.
The good news is that Hyundai has not exceeded the pricing due to this new feature addition. The Alcazar range remains accessible, as the base petrol variant is available from Rs 17.22 lakh, while the top-end diesel trim costs Rs 21.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The Alcazar crossover SUV is available with a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine options. Owners can choose from a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AT, and a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox options.
