Hyundai Alcazar Corporate Diesel details
The newly introduced Corporate Diesel variants are available with a manual and an automatic gearbox. The prices of the new variants are as follows:
- Corporate 7S Diesel MT – Rs 17,86,700
- Corporate 7S Diesel AT – Rs 19,28,700
- Prestige 7S Petrol DCT – Rs 18,63,700
The new Corporate variant of Alcazar is equipped with a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, quad LED headlamps, sequential LED turn indicators, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone auto climate control, 10.25-inch dual screens, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a wireless charger.
The Alcazar Corporate Diesel is powered by the Creta-sourced, 1.5-litre, turbo-diesel engine, which develops 114 bhp and 250 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively.
It is a front-wheel drive setup, which is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission option.
Moreover, Hyundai has also added a new base petrol variant with the DCT automatic gearbox. The option of an auto base variant is highly suitable for budget-oriented customers.
With that said, there are no other changes to the SUV. Mind you, the new Alcazar was launched in India last year with a revised design, new cabin, and improved safety features.
Our verdict
Hyundai’s decision to add comfort features like the panoramic sunroof to the diesel version is appreciated. While the diesel engines are getting extinct, Hyundai continues updating its diesel powertrain for customers.
