Husqvarna, the renowned Swedish motorcycle brand, has finally unveiled the much-anticipated Svartpilen 801 prototype. The production model of this new motorcycle is set to debut on March 19, 2024.

A Glimpse of the Svartpilen 801

Following a series of social media teasers and spy shot photographs, Husqvarna has confirmed that a larger, parallel-twin Svartpilen 801 naked bike is on the way for 2024. The prototype has been seen tackling both a flattrack oval and a frozen lake, complete with studded tyres.

Power and Performance

The all-new middleweight model has been engineered to deliver a powerful combination of performance, agility, and contemporary style. Weighing just 181 kg and powered by a compact, parallel-twin engine producing 105 hp, the Svartpilen 801 offers a dynamic power-to-weight ratio.

The Svartpilen 801 is further enhanced by state-of-the-art electronic rider aids, including Easy Shift for seamless gear changes, as standard. A class-leading technology package maximises the riding experience and safety throughout every ride.

Design and Aesthetics

The distinct and minimalist style of the new Svartpilen 801 is achieved by a selection of components that combine to create a unique, scrambler-inspired motorcycle. Slimline ergonomic bodywork wraps neatly around the engine and frame for unrestricted movement.

The steering damper and adjustable WP suspension provide exceptional comfort on every ride. The full specification, imagery, and technical data for the new Svartpilen 801 will be released on March 19, 2024.

Even though the global debut will take place on March 19, it is unclear if the Svartpilen 801 will make its way to India. If it does, it will go up against the Ducati Scrambler.
