More About The Event

Under this HMSI’s 3.5-hours training, the program educated the participants through the theory session on road rules and regulations. Furthermore, the participants also gained knowledge of road signs and markings, driver’s duties on the road, riding gear and posture explanation and safe riding etiquette. The training was then followed by Honda’s virtual riding simulator to experience nearly 100 possible dangers on the road before actual riding.

Honda also imparted knowledge to improve the risk prediction ability of riders on roads. The participants underwent special danger prediction training known as Kiken Yosoku Training (KYT). This training helps enhance rider/driver’s sensitivity to danger and also ensures safe driving action on roads. The participants implemented the learnings through practical training on a Honda two-wheeler to have a more holistic understanding of road safety.
