Honda showcased a surprise product at the 2018 Auto Expo, the X-Blade. The brand has now started dispatch for this new 160cc motorcycle and it has been priced at INR 78,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). For the segment, the X-Blade comes with quite a few exciting features.

Honda likes to call the X-Blade inspired from robots in terms of design.

Powering the Honda X-Blade is a 162.71cc, HET, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor producing 13.93 BHP of power @ 8500 RPM and 13.9 Nm of torque @ 6000 RPM matched to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is shared with the likes of CB Hornet 160R & CB Unicorn 160. Not really exciting as a motor, but it is quite reliable and performs your city runs with a punch.

Honda claims the bike is designed for millennials and comes with features such as LED headlamps, LED tail lamp, sculpted fuel tank, large front fly screen, digital instrument console, rear tyre hugger, new grab rail, dual outlet muffler with chrome tip, single contoured seat but no rear disc brake.

Honda is offering the X-Blade for a booking amount of INR 5,000 and is available in 5 colours – blue, silver, red, black & green.
