Honda starts delivering CB200X motorcycles in India

Honda has announced that the company has commenced the deliveries on the CB200X motorcycles. The new Honda CB200X comes with an adventure touring design targeted for both highway tourers and daily commuters. The Honda CB200X features the rugged character of an urban explorer and boasts to meet the expectation of weekend exploration enthusiasts. The brand has announced that the deliveries have commenced through Honda’s “Red Wing” dealerships. Honda conducted the first ‘Key Handover’ ceremony at Faridabad Honda in Faridabad Haryana. 

Honda CB200X – Price, Colours and Warranty

The Honda CB200X comes with an ex-showroom price of INR 1,44,500 Gurugram, Haryana. The brand offers three colours on the CB200X – Pearl Nightstar Black, Sports Red and Matte Selene Silver Metallic. Honda offers its customers a 6-year warranty package. This includes a 3-years standard and 3-years optional extended warranty.

Honda CB200X – Features

The Honda CB200X comes with features such as LED headlamps, taillamps, and LED turn indicator lamps. Honda has integrated the front LED indicator lamps into the sporty knuckle guard of the motorcycle. The motorcycle also features a full-digital LCD instruments cluster. The digital dashboard comes with features such as a speedometer, odometer, gear position indicator, Service Due, Battery Volt indicator etc. The bike also comes with an engine stop switch, hazard switch, and ABS for safety.

The Honda CB200X also comes with a raised handlebar, a windscreen, upright fairing, mid-set footpegs and 810mm of commanding seat height. The motorcycle also gets gold-finished upside-down front fork suspension and a monoshock on the rear. The bike also comes with petal disc brakes with hydraulic stoppers on the front and rear. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod in chunky dual-sport tyres. 

Honda CB200X – Technical Specifications

Powering the CB200X is a 184cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with PGMFi. The engine produces 17.3 PS of power and 16.1 Nm of torque. Honda has refined the engine with roller rocker arms and piston cooling jets to reduce the overall frictional losses and improve the thermodynamic efficiency of the motorcycle. The onboard sensors also continuously monitor the air and fuel and optimise the ratio of the engine. 

Customers can book the motorcycle from the nearest Honda Red Wing dealership across India, as per local COVID-19 safety protocols or through the Honda website online.
