Honda Cars India Ltd. sold 1,31,871 units in the calendar year 2024, i.e. from January to December, representing a cumulative growth of 20% in total sales. In CY 2024, the company sold 68,650 units in the domestic market and 63,221 units internationally. Furthermore, in December 2024, the company sold 9,460 units, of which 5,603 were sold domestically and 3,857 were exported.
Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales Honda Cars India Ltd., discussed HCIL’s overall sales performance in 2024. He stated that even though the domestic automobile market struggled to generate new demand, HCIL recorded its highest-ever exports in CY’2024. This was primarily possible because of the exports of Honda’s mid-size SUV, the Honda Elevate.
This resulted in HCIL’s overall sales rising by an impressive 20%. It also solidified India’s standing as a major worldwide base for Honda manufacturing. On the other hand, the brand-new 3rd Gen Amaze was introduced in India last month, and the company received great feedback.
Further, recently, a stunning black Honda Elevate Black Edition was spotted in a spy image. It is expected that the Elevate SUV’s Black Edition will be unveiled this month.
Honda Elevate Black Edition:
The same 1.5L NA Petrol i-VTEC engine will power the black edition. This engine can generate up to 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque when mated to a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AMT. The Honda Elevate Black Edition might only come in top-spec variants.
Additionally, there are seven colour possibilities for the Honda Elevate: Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Phoenix Orange Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Radiant Red Metallic. Another of Honda’s three dual-tone colour options is a Crystal Black Pearl roof that complements Orange, White, and Red hues.
