Honda has achieved a milestone sales figure this festive season. The brand claims to have sold 1.65 lakh units this festive season on the day of Dhanteras.
This has been a 112% growth as compared to last years sales number of 78,500 units. Honda claims that almost all dealerships nationwide were working overtime on Dhanteras to meet customer demand. Most dealerships were even stocked out by October 21 evening. The Dream series which includes the Dream Yuga, Dream Neo and CD 110 Dream also saw increase in sales.
Honda has more plans for the near future with the 150-160cc class motorcycle and starting local manufacturing of the CBR 650F. Honda plans to work in sync with the ‘Make in India’ initiative and develop as many products they can here in India, grounds-up.
