Honda has revealed the Africa Twin Adventure Roads special edition motorcycle in the international markets. The Adventure Roads special edition celebrates this years Honda Adventure Roads in Morocco. The Africa Twin Adventure Roads is in the tricolour finish and comes with loads of accessories, while the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged.
What’s Special?
Apart from the Honda Adventure Roads individually numbered plaque on the tank, the special edition Africa Twin also comes with crash guards, engine bars to safeguard the motor, fog lights and a radiator guards from Honda’s accessories catalogue. In addition to this, the special edition motorcycle also gets an Adventure Roads logo on the tank.
Powertrain & Mechanicals
Powering the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Roads special edition motorcycle is a 270-degree parallel-twin engine with a 1,084cc of displacement. The DOHC liquid-cooled motor produces 100 BHP of power and 105 Nm of torque and has similar characteristics to the V-Twin motor that the Africa Twin used to come with in the past. The Honda Africa Twin Adventure Roads edition comes with the top-spec trim which gets electronic suspension as well.
How Do I Buy the Africa Twin Adventure Roads?
Sadly, the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Roads special edition motorcycle will only be available in the UK in a limited run of just 75 units. The motorcycle is likely to cost only GBP 1,000 more than the one its is based on and is likely sell like hot cakes considering the accessories you get for the mildly additional price.
Honda Adventure Roads – Morocco 2024
The 2024 Morocco Honda Adventure Roads follows the footsteps of the previous Dakar rally. During the 10-day adventure riders guide themselves getting a true sense of adventure using the Tripy II system. Honda Adventure Roads also created a bespoke road book for the riders which begins in Agadir and riding eastwards towards the golden dunes of M’hamid. Riders then go through the round mountain of Gara Medouar. In addition to this, the HAR riders also go through the steep decent of Dades canyon and head deeper into the crumbling mountain passes and valleys towards the cultural city of Fes. Heading north the terrain becomes flora rich as riders head into Tazekka National Park before finishing at Nador.
