Performance and engine specs
Powering the Rebel 500 is a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering 45.59 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, tuned for strong low-end torque and smooth cruising.
The bike features telescopic front forks and twin Showa rear shock absorbers, ensuring a comfortable ride on highways and city streets. Braking duties are handled by a 296mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS.
Market position and rivals
The Rebel 500 competes with the Kawasaki Eliminator 500, Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, and Super Meteor 650. While it is INR 64,000 cheaper than the Eliminator 500, it remains more expensive than Royal Enfield’s offerings, which start at INR 3.59 lakh.
Availability and booking details
Honda is importing the Rebel 500 as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), which contributes to its premium pricing. The bike is available exclusively at BigWing Topline dealerships in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, with deliveries beginning in June 2025.
