Honda Transalp XL750 : More Details

Honda introduced the XL750 Transalp at EICMA 2022, reviving the Transalp name after almost a decade. Honda has also filed a design patent for the motorcycle in India.
Now, to follow up on the popularity of the Africa Twin in India, Honda is introducing a smaller adventure bike called the Transalp.

The Transalp uses the same engine as the new CB750 Hornet. This is a liquid-cooled, 755cc, parallel-twin unit that produces 92 HP @ 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm @ 7,250 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine has a 270-degree firing order, which gives it a hallmark V-twin-like pulse.

The Transalp has a new steel diamond frame supported by a 43mm Showa USD fork and monoshock, both of which are only preload adjustable. The motorcycle has 210mm of ground clearance and wears 21/18-inch tubed wire-spoke wheels with block-pattern tires. It weighs 208 kg, which is significantly less than its immediate rivals, the Tiger 900 Rally (196 kg dry) and the BMW F 850 GS (233 kg curb).
