Honda launches CD 110 Dream motorcycle

Honda has launched it’s 3rd mass market motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler industry, the CD 110 Dream. This new offering is Honda’s most affordable two-wheeler for India and is priced at Rs. 41,100 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

The CD 110 Dream is a basic mass market motorcycle with not many bells and whistles. Strictly utilitarian, the Honda CD 110 Dream comes with the Honda Eco Technology (HET) which helps deliver a mileage of 74 kmpl. Internal test rides conducted by Honda delivered a mileage of 83.32 kmpl. The bikes pumps out 8.25 BHP of power @ 7500 RPM and 8.63 Nm of torque @ 5500 RPM.

The bike gets some decals on the tank, full black exhaust with a black heat shield, long flat seat and silver coloured 6-spoke alloy wheels. Also, the motorcycle has a ground clearance of 179mm and comes equipped with tubeless tyres, a viscous air filter and a maintenance free battery.

The bike will be available in three colours – black + red, black + blue and black + grey. Also, there will be other variants of the bike such as kick-start, drum brake and spoke rim variants. The bike will be available for sale starting from August 2014.
