Honda has launched their first BS-VI scooter for the Indian market, the Activa 125. This new model has been priced at INR 67,490 ex-showroom for the standard model, INR 70,990 for the alloy wheel model and INR 74,490 for the Deluxe model. The 2019 Honda Activa 125 is the most advanced scooter from the Japanese manufacturer. The brand says that this is a ‘Quiet Revolution’ for the two-wheeler market in India.

Primary highlights of this BS-VI compliant engine on the Honda Activa 125 include fuel-injection, a noiseless ACG starter motor, eSP technology, idle start/stop system and engine immobiliser triggered by the side stand. All these features are going to result in 13% increase in overall mileage.

The updated 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke motor pumping 8.1 HP of power @ 6500 RPM, which is a little less than the BS-IV iteration.

The 2019 Honda Activa 125 will have a new digital + analogue speedometer cluster which will reveal data such as real-time fuel economy, ECO indicator, average fuel economy data, riding range along with trip meters, clock, odometer and a digital fuel bar. There will also be a side stand indicator in place here.

The BS-VI Honda Activa 125 will be sold in 7 body colour options.

The Honda Activa 125 rivals the likes of Piaggio Vespa 125, Aprilia SR 125, Suzuki Access 125 and the likes. This slots as a premium commuter scooter and comes with features such as LED headlamp, chrome accents, alloy wheels, front disc brake, telescopic front fork, combi-brakes, small black fly screen, new body graphics, and more…
