Honda has sold over 80 lakh two-wheelers in Maharashtra

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India today announced yet another sales milestone feat. The company’s cumulative two-wheeler sales in the state have crossed the 80 lakh units mark this month, which is a remarkable achievement.

Honda’s Journey In Maharashtra

The story of HMSI in India began in 2001 with the introduction of Activa. Catching up with the momentum and gaining popularity the growing customer base in the state stood at 16 lakh by 2016.

Then with the rising demand for two-wheelers in India, customers’ trust in Honda’s products also grew manifolds. All these matched up perfectly and HMSI has now successfully doubled its customers to 80 lacs in Maharashtra. The most recent 40-lakh customers came in the last six years. Noteworthy to mention, as is the case with the rest of India, Activa 6G leads the scooter demand in Maharashtra as well.

Honda has a stronghold in the state with a total of  670+ touchpoints (including dealerships, authorized service centers, and best deal outlets). Alongside, the company also offers a wide range of two-wheeler line-ups of scooters & motorcycles for customers to choose from.

HMSI scooters’ range comprises 4 models namely Activa 6G, Activa 125, Dio & Grazia 125. Meanwhile, in the motorcycle category the company offers 8 titles across 110cc (CD 110 Dream & Livo), 125cc (SP125 & Shine), 160cc (X-Blade & Unicorn) and 180-200cc (Hornet 2.0 & CB200X).
