Honda 2Wheelers, which is now in its 20th year of India operation and the brand now announces yet another milestone. The company mentioned that it is now the first choice two-wheeler manufacturer of over 20 lakh customers in Rajasthan. Led by the top-selling scooters, Activa 6G and Active 125, Honda is in huge demand in the state. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer claims that it added 10 lakh customers in just 5 years. This is almost 3 times faster than the first 10 lakh sales. Honda started its operations in the state in 2001, and the first 10 lakh customers joined in 15 years.

The two-wheeler company also mentioned that they are witnessing a steady growth in the motorcycle segment as well. Honda Shine and SP 125, are the top-selling motorcycles in the state and with that Honda brand is the best selling in the 125cc motorcycle segment. With a total of 385 network outlets spread across the state, Honda is present in almost every corner of the state. This helps in catering to a wide range of audience thus, boosting the sales figure. Honda’s 2nd manufacturing facility in Tapukara, Alwar makes a strong statement about the manufacturer’s commitment to the state. Honda’s lineup of scooters with increased ground clearance, improved mileage and advanced telescopic forks helps to garner a lot of sales in rural India. Currently, 2 out of every 3 scooters are Honda scooters.
