Although the CBR 150R isn’t moving fast out of the showrooms, Honda wants the motorcycle to make fast progress on the streets. The company has now bumped up the power figures on the CBR 150R.

The CBR 150R is powered by a 149.4cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor which now produces 18.28 BHP of power @ 10,500 RPM and 12.66 Nm of torque @ 8,500 RPM. Peak power has now gone up by 0.71 BHP, which is quite significant on a motorcycle with such small dimensions.

Apart from the bump in power, the CBR 150R remains identical cosmetically.

The motorcycle costs Rs. 1,18,553 for the DLX model and Rs. 1,17,67 for the standard model. (Prices are ex-showroom Delhi)

We feel that more than power, the CBR 150R needs a revision in styling, desperately. A facelift has already been launched internationally with the dual keen eyes which are signature CBR. We can expect Honda to bring this update to the Indian market by next year.
