Honda Cars India has announced their new online car booking platform ‘Honda from Home’. During this lockdown period because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, brands are finding new ways to keep the ball rolling and have potential customers decide the car they wish to buy. Honda is offering this new digital service which allows a user to book a car of his / her desired choice in 5 steps.
Should a car buyer decide to bring home a Honda, he / she has to log on to the official website, select the desired model + variant combination, select the nearest dealership, share all the personal necessary details and pay and book the car online. This will eliminate the need to personally visit a dealership and save precious amount of time. However, some might still feel the need to go and check out a car personally. On such a high ticket size purchase, touch and feel still remains important. In such cases, one can always ask for a test drive at home. The benefit of this online booking platform is that it is available 24×7, so you are not pressed for time to visit a dealership within working hours. Honda will soon enlist their entire dealer network to this digital platform.
This Honda from Home platform allows customers to select the car, fuel type, variant, transmission type, and body colour. Once the customer has made the mandatory selection, a booking confirmation ID is sent to the customer and the selected dealer. The sales executive will later connect with the customer to discuss the final payment or finance schemes. Customers can also opt for home delivery of their vehicle once everything is in place.
At the moment, Honda Car India retails the Jazz, Amaze, WR-V, City, Civic and CR-V. Honda is still in the process of transitioning their existing line-up to meet the BS6 emission norms.
