‘Honda from Home’ online car buying option for Indian customers

At the end of April 2020, during the COVID induced nation-wide lockdown, Honda Cars India Limited launched the online car booking platform making under the Honda from Home initiative. The brand has now extended the Honda from Home initiative by launching a comprehensive online car Buying platform enabling a convenient, safe and secure car buying experience. Through the Online Retail Platform, customers can purchase Honda cars in 6 easy steps. 

In the new enhanced Honda from Home program, customers can now explore car prices, select the dealer, avail special promotional offers including loyalty, avail exchange and corporate benefits, explore finance options from leading banks, calculate the EMI, get in touch with a dedicated sales representative, check the on-road price and select preferred delivery location option for the purchased vehicle.

With Honda from Home, customers can now visit the Honda Cars India website and select the ‘Buy Online’ option. The customer has to create a profile and login. After the information is validated, customer can explore the range of Honda cars along with its variant, fuel type, transmission and colour. The online system also allows the customer to set a range of price according to their available budget. The customer can then select their city and dealership from where they intend to purchase the vehicle. 

If a customer already owns a Honda car, the system offers loyalty points, also users can avail monthly offers in a detailed section. Customers can also upload details of their old cars if they plan to exchange them for a new car. The new selected car can also be customised from the line of Honda accessories. The brand is also offers extended warranty and roadside assistance packages with prices as add-ons to the overall buying journey are also included before generating a quote.

Recently, Honda also launched the “Honda Virtual Showroom” which has also been integrated into this platform.
