Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India LTD has announced that the brand has crossed the 25 lakh cumulative sales milestone in Kerala. The brand also reveals that the feat has been achieved in close to 2 decades of market presence. Furthermore, the took nearly 14 years (2001 to 2014) to add the first 10 lakh customers but the next 15 lakh customer joined the Honda family in just over 6 years. Also, in the past 6 years, Honda has nearly doubled its sales and service network to over 250 touchpoints in the state.
Honda is also celebrating the achievement by offering its customers in Kerala with Honda Super 6 Offer, giving them an opportunity to save up to INR 11,000 under its limited period offer valid only till the end of November 2020. Honda also boasts to be one of the first two-wheeler manufacturers in the Indian market that started selling BS6 emission compliant scooter and motorcycles. The company had started the transition into conforming with the stringent new BS6 standards almost 6 months before the deadline, with the launch of the BS6 Honda Activa 125 in September 2019. The brand also updated its sales driver the Honda Activa with features such as Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology that integrates an ACG Starter Motor which starts the engine using the same AC generator used to generate current and a Programmed Fuel-Injection (PGM-FI) with 6 intelligent sensors – Engine oil temperature sensor, Engine Speed sensor, Oxygen sensor, Air pressure sensor, Air temperature sensor, Throttle Position Sensor which relay the data through a control unit that injects the right amount of fuel through a constant feedback system.
The brand has also launched the Honda H’ness CB 350 in the Indian market which is available in Kerala exclusively from the Big Wing Topline – Honda’s premium motorcycle sales & service network at Kochi.
