Honda confirms NSF 250R debut in India, 47.6 HP & 28 Nm

HMSI, Honda has continued with their pursuit of developing racing riders here in India. Now, the Japanese manufacturer has announced that they will be bringing in the 2015 Moto 3 championship winning machine on our shores. Honda will now allow riders to hop on the NSF 250R for racing events.

The Honda NSF 250R will be introduced as a machine for racing competition in India from next year onwards. The best of racers from Honda’s talent cup in India will get to race of the NSF 250R in a separate series.

Honda’s NSF 250R is developed by Honda Racing Corporation and is a compact, light weight and high performance racing motorcycle. It comes powered by a 249cc engine with RAM air assist.The engine produces 47.6 HP of power and 28 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox.

It sports a low centre of gravity, high power output and a fully faired aerodynamic body shell which allows for great handling. Painted in HRC colours, the bike has a USD front fork, rear monoshock, new swingarm with unique design, midship exhaust muffler, front and rear disc brakes, cowl at the rear, flat racing seat and the likes.
