Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited announces the commencement of the deliveries of its all-new CB 350 RS. The motorcycle launched globally on 16th February 2021 is the second mid-size ‘Made in India, for the World’ motorcycle in the CB family.’ This motorcycle is known for its sophisticated styling and comes with subtle urban touches. Honda claims that this motorcycle is getting a lot of positive response particularly from the young enthusiasts in the country.
Engine and Performance
Powering the Honda CB 350 RS is a 348.36 cc single-cylinder engine that cranks out 20.8 BHP of peak power at 5,500 RPM and 30 Nm of peak torque at 3,000 RPM. The transmission in the CB 350 RS is a 5-speed unit that comes with a slipper and assists clutch and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The front suspension setup comprises a large telescopic unit meanwhile the rear gets the twin spring-assisted pressurized nitrogen-charged shock absorbers. The braking setup consists of a 310mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear. To improve the safety of the rider, Honda has equipped the motorcycle with a dual-channel ABS system.
Key Features
The semi-digital instrument cluster does provide a lot of information like Odometer, Trip, Gear Position, Average Economy, Real-time mileage, Distance to Empty, Fuel Level, Time and more. The main gauges include an analogue speedometer and a blue backlit LCD display. The Eco Indicator in the instrument cluster lights up when the motorcycle is at its most optimal speed and gear ratio.
Price and Availability
The motorcycle is available in two different shades, Radiant Red Metallic which retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 1.96 lakhs and Black with Pearl Sports Yellow which has a sticker price of INR 1.98 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Honda CB 350 RS is a part of Honda’s premium offering and thus, Honda’s premium dealership ‘BigWing Topline’ and ‘BigWing’ will sell this product.
