Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India will soon give the Chandigarh Traffic Park in Sector 23-A a makeover. This will be a specially designed and protected environment within 15 acres of land.

Honda will provide ‘Lifetime Safety Education’ for all age groups starting from those above the age of five to adults at the Children Traffic Park. Also, special focus will be given to women who want to have freedom of independent mobility. Till date, Honda has had over 60,000 participants within 1.5 years through their existing traffic parks, and wishes to promote a safe riding culture in Chandigarh.

Highlights of this program:

  • Male and female Honda safety instructors who will educate new riders on correct riding techniques.
  • Honda’s proprietary riding trainers who will help people above 13 years of age to understand and experience over 100 possible hazards on the road. Training in Hindi language will also be available.
  • Specially imported CRF 50 motorcycles will be available to teach riding to children, in a fun way.
  • Exchange of road safety know how.
