Honda has been actively updating their scooter portfolio in India. In a bid to generate more sales and keep the products fresh on the shelf, the Activa 125 has now been refreshed. The 2018 Honda Activa 125 is now priced at INR 59,621. The scooter comes with cosmetic as well as mechanical changes.
The big changes on the 2018 Honda Activa include LED headlamps, new digital + analogue instrument console with odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, clock and service reminder. The Activa 125 now comes with the 4-in-one ignition key which allows for remote unlocking of the seat. As an accessory, customers can also opt for a phone charging point under the seat.
Mechanical changes include a new rear monoshock which gets adjustable preload.
Powering the Honda Activa 125 is a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor producing 8.5 BHP of power and 10.5 Nm of torque matched to a CVT gearbox. The Activa 125 comes with CBS (Combi Brake System) as standard and has a front disc brake as optional for the top variant.
The Honda Activa 125 rivals the likes of Suzuki Access 125, Piaggio Vespa 125 & Aprilia SR 125.
