Honda 2Wheelers India sold a total of 58,168 units for May 2021. This sales figure is a combination of both domestic as well as export sales. In terms of numbers, domestic sales accounted for 38,763 units, and exports accounted for 19,405 units. The decline in the sales figure is attributed to the multiple lockdowns and movement restrictions.

Honda 2Wheelers India had also announced the temporary shut down of its manufacturing plants to curtail the covid-19 cases and maintain regular maintenance jobs. Honda 2Wheelers is closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation and will reopen the operations in a staggered manner.

Key Highlights Of 2021

With the restrictions of the movement, many Honda customers had missed their last date of availing free services and warranty dates. To safeguard its customers, Honda provided peace of mind by announcing the extension of the later date till 31 July 2021 to avail of the services. Given the current situation, most customers prefer to stay at their homes. Thus, Honda 2Wheelers came up with an online platform where customers can book service appointments from the comfort of their homes. Along with this, customers can also view various offers, enquire about new vehicles, avail financial schemes and more. The CSR arm of the company, Honda India Foundation, pledged a total sum of INR 65 million to help fight the ongoing pandemic.
