Honda 2Wheelers India announces its sales report for January 2021. The company sold a total of 3,54,209 units for the given period. This includes 3,12,196 units in domestic sales and 39,013 units as exports. When compared to January 2021, the export figure doubled from last year. The sales in 2022 are showing some positive movement when compared to 2021. But, the company feels that there are still some preceding challenges of the last fiscal year. Although there are some visible signs of healthy recovery with the implementation of vaccinations and a dip in daily COVID cases.

For January 2022, Honda Shine achieved its target of 1 Crore customers in India. This is quite a remarkable achievement for the Honda brand in the country. Furthermore, Honda is now the first choice of over 15 lac customers in Odisha state. The scooter segment in the country is growing at a rapid pace. This is evident from the fact that Honda Grazia125 has now gained over 2 lac customers in the Eastern India region. Honda is expanding its BigWing network very aggressively. The two-wheeler maker now has added a new outlet in Kangra (Himachal Pradesh). The BigWing brand is getting more and more popular as it keeps adding new outlets across the country.
In the past 5 years, there has been significant growth in the Neo-Sports Cafe category. And hence to make the most out of it, Honda 2Wheelers India launched the 2022 CB300R in India. Alongside this, the company has also launched the new 2022 CBR650R. Customers will have two exciting colour options to choose from. These are Grand Prix Red and Gunpowder Black Metallic.
In terms of Road Safety, Honda 2Wheelers India conducted a Digital Road Safety Awareness training in Ahmednagar (Maharashtra). This was attended by over 300 students and staff members of Amrutvahini College of Engineering. Alongside this, Honda has celebrated the 5th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) and the 9th anniversary of Traffic Training Park in Jaipur (Rajasthan).
