When Honda 2Wheelers first made its entry to the country in 2001, it took almost 17 years to add the first 5 lakh customers in the state. And now, the recent 5-lakh has been added in just 4 years. This proves the brand’s increasing popularity in the state. Honda 2Wheelers has added a significant number of dealerships to both the rural and urban regions, thus reaching out to more customers. And now, with the upcoming festive season, the brand expects the demand to go further up, thus adding more sales.

One of the main USPs of the Japanese brand is launching customer-centric features and offerings way ahead of its time. Some of the highlighted examples include the Combi-Brake System introduced in 2009, Honda Eco Technology (HET) in 2013 or the enhanced Smart Power (eSP).
Given the current situation of the pandemic and work from home culture, Honda has introduced an online vehicle booking. Customers can now experience their choice of products from the comfort of their home without having to visit the showroom. Currently, under the scooter segment, Honda has four models. These are Activa 6G, Activa 125, Dio and Grazia 125. And in the RedWing category, which comprises motorcycles, there are a total of 8 models. The list includes 110cc (CD 110 Dream and Livo), 125cc (SP125 and Shine), 160cc (X-Blade and Unicorn) and 180-200cc (Hornet 2.0 and CB200X) segments.

For the month of August 2021, Honda 2Wheelers India sold a total of 4,30,683 units. There’s a significant increase in the demand for two-wheelers as Covid-19 restrictions ease out.
