Hero Xtreme 250R made its debut in the Indian market recently at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. With a new powerful engine and revised specifications, the new Xtreme 250R competes with the Bajaj Dominar 250 head-on. Price comparison
Hero Motocorp knows that the 250cc naked bike segment in India is tough and therefore the pricing of the Xtreme 250R has been kept aggressive. It is positioned at Rs 1.80 lakh ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the Bajaj Dominar 250, despite being an old offering, is positioned at Rs 1,80,158 ex-showroom. While the difference is only marginal, the new tech and features of the Xtreme make it a better value on paper.

As visible, it is the Hero Xtreme 250R that offers a better proposition in terms of engine, specifications, and power. It is not only more powerful than the Dominar but it is lighter and has bigger brakes for better control.
Meanwhile, the Dominar 250 delivers the peak power and torque at lower rpms for better cruising capabilities. Additionally, its big fuel tank translates into long riding range; helping in long touring.
