Price comparison

Hero Motocorp knows that the 250cc naked bike segment in India is tough and therefore the pricing of the Xtreme 250R has been kept aggressive. It is positioned at Rs 1.80 lakh ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the Bajaj Dominar 250, despite being an old offering, is positioned at Rs 1,80,158 ex-showroom. While the difference is only marginal, the new tech and features of the Xtreme make it a better value on paper.

Specifications comparison

The major improvement that the Xtreme moniker has witnessed is in its specification department. It not only gets a bigger engine but the overall components have been revised for better performance. A detailed difference between both motorcycles is as follows:

Meanwhile, the Dominar 250 delivers the peak power and torque at lower rpms for better cruising capabilities. Additionally, its big fuel tank translates into long riding range; helping in long touring.
