Written by AnantaSaranNayak

After the successful launch of Xpulse 200 4V and Xpulse 200T 4V, Hero MotoCorp is preparing for yet another launch. This is the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V. It comes in as the four-valve variant of the Xtreme 200S. Recently, the upcoming motorcycle was spotted ahead of its launch in the Indian market. From the spy pictures, we can point out a slew of visual changes that the Xtreme 200S 4V will get.

What Do We Know So Far?

We see that the overall design remains very similar to the two-valve version of the motorcycle, But the upcoming Xtreme 200S 4V will benefit from new and bolder graphics. The spy pictures show a dual-tone finish to the motorcycle that gets a combination of yellow and black colours. We also see new graphics on the fairing and the side and rear panels. Meanwhile, the four-valve variant of the motorcycle, similar to the existing version, seems to retain a slew of elements. This includes, a single-pod LED headlight, an LED taillight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, a step-up seat, a muscular fuel tank, a side-slung exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Mechanical specifications Of Xtreme 200S

The mechanical specifications will remain very similar to the existing Xpulse 200 4V duo. Thus, this upcoming version of the Hero Xtreme 200S will continue with a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine in four valves. The motor delivers a maximum output of 18.83 BHP at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 17.3Nm at 6,500rpm. This motor will come equipped with a five-speed gearbox. As per the latest emission norms,  the model should arrive with OBD2 compliance and E20 fuel compatibility.

Hardware Specifications Of Xtreme 200S 4V

As mentioned, the hardware will be very similar to the existing model. Thus the upcoming Hero Xtreme 200S 4V will benefit from telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock to handle the suspension duties. Disc brakes on both wheels will take care of the braking tasks. In terms of safety, it will comprise a single-channel ABS. The motorcycle will get 17-inch wheels wearing the 100/80-section front and 130/70-section rear tubeless tyres.

India Launch Details

As for the spy shots, these photographs of the new Xtreme 200S 4V are likely from a dealer to meet. Thus, we assume that this motorcycle could debut in the Indian market very soon. We expect the motorcycle to retail at a marginal premium over the existing model. Once launched, the motorcycle will rival the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and Suzuki Gixxer SF.
