Hero MotoCorp starts ‘Home Delivery’ of new two-wheelers

Written by Parichay Malvankar

World’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer and India’s most well accepted motorcycle and scooter brand Hero MotoCorp has announced that they will now start delivering new two-wheelers at customer doorstep. This new service can be available to customers for a nominal charge, and they do not need to visit a dealership to pick up their new possession.

This is a new and unique initiative from Hero MotoCorp at the moment in the two-wheeler industry and will be active in cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru and Noida. This service will also be made available in a total of 25 Indian cities in a phased manner. All interested customers can opt for this via the brands e-commerce website.

One out of every two motorcycles sold in the country is from Hero MotoCorp, so this value added service might get a good response, at least in heavy traffic and conjusted cities. All that a customer has to do is on the website, select the two-wheeler they want to buy, select the dealership and make the booking payment. The 3rd party service providers will pick up all the documentation from your home or office and get the two-wheeler registered at the nearest RTO. Customers need to pay just INR 349 for this service, and get it delivered at their doorstep.

Hero MotoCorp has been currently focussing on their 200cc range of motorcycles. The brand has introduced the Xtreme 200R, Xtreme 200S and the Xpulse 200 along with a touring-biased Xpulse 200T. All these bikes are the premium motorcycles from the brand and still very competitively priced. So an additional INR 349 for this service sounds very reasonable. The Xpulse 200 is being well accepted in the market, as it is a fitting upgrade from the Impulse which was discontinued long ago. The Hero Xpulse 200 is a good road-going bike and a phenomenal learning motorcycle for those who are new to adventure motorcycling world.
