Hero MotoCorp sold 3.94 lakh two-wheelers in February 2023

Hero MotoCorp Ltd is currently the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters. The two-wheeler maker sold a total of 394,460 units in February 2023.

This sales figure translates into a double-digit growth of 10 per cent over the corresponding month of the previous year February 2022. At that time the company had sold 358,254 units.

The sales volumes in the month of February suggest continuously improving consumer sentiments. Moreover, the company expects the positive trend to continue in the coming months, supported by favourable economic indicators.

Key Highlights Of Hero MotoCorp From February 2023

In the month of February, Hero MotoCorp added a new campaign ‘Where Next?. This is for its recently introduced powerful & stylish touring motorcycle – XPulse 200T 4V. The new commercial reflects upon the company’s highly celebrated brand ambassadors and youth icons, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Hero Moto Corp has been creating societal impact through compelling narratives. In this commercial, Hero MotoCorp puts the female artist in the primary rider spot, thus representing women in an inspiring character.

Vida Increasing Its Presence In The Country

VIDA, powered by Hero, too has initiated works for its public charging infrastructure in Bengaluru, Delhi and Jaipur. The brand has currently set up close to 300 charging points at 50 locations across. These have come up at three cities for public use. The charging network is available across key locations, adding to customer convenience. VIDA’s fast charging network allows riders to charge their scooter’s battery at 1.2 kms/min. Each charging station will have both DC and AC charging sockets.

With the increase in number of chargers, more customers will join the EV segment. Not just that, EVs will also aid in controlling the the carbon footprint. Hero Vida is doing it all to make EV mainstream and attract more sales. The need of the hour is enhance the charging infrastructure to support the growing number of EVs in the market.
