Hero MotoCorp reveals XPulse 200T, retro tourer

Written by Parichay Malvankar

At the ongoing EICMA show in Milan, Hero MotoCorp has revealed a new model called the XPulse 200T. Unlike the XPulse 200 which will be very adventure touring friendly, the XPulse 200T is being termed as a retro tourer by the brand.

The Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200T will offer a easy comfortable riding posture and will come with features such as single-channel ABS, LED headlamp and tail lamp, bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, loading capabilities.

Hero MotoCorp has already launched the Xtreme 200R, and the XPulse siblings, the XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T are expected to be launched by early 2019. 4 custom motorcycle concepts were also revealed – Cafe Racer, Desert Concept, Scrambler Concept and Flat-Track concept.

Powering the bike will be a 200cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor producing 18.4 BHP of power and 17.1 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike will sport a 14L fuel tank.

However, with the Xtreme 200R for the urban commute and the XPulse 200 for the adventure touring segment, we find it hard to see where the XPulse 200T will slot in.
